The Arc of IndianaAdvocates for people with mental retardation and related disabilities and their families. Local chapters provide advocacy, information, and networks for families of people with developmental disabilities. Many chapters provide direct services, including residential services, independent living support services, employment services, and others.

Center for Disability Information and ReferralIndiana Institute on Disability and Community
Provides statewide referral service to people with disabilities, their families, and professionals. CeDIR has a lending library of books, videos, and kits that circulates to any resident of Indiana. |
Division of Disability, Aging, and Rehabilitation ServicesIndiana Family and Social Services Administration
Assists eligible people with disabilities and older people through in-home services, supported employment, independent living, deaf/hard-of-hearing services, social security disability eligibility, and more. |
Governor's Council for People with DisabilitiesPromotes public policy which leads to the independence and inclusion of people with disabilities. Receives and disseminates federal funds to support programs that empower individuals and families and advocate systems change.

Indiana Civil Rights CommissionEnforces Indiana civil rights laws, prohibiting discrimination in employment, housing, education, public accommodation, and credit. This includes Fair Housing and many ADA provisions.
